ABOUT US
New Motors has been serving Erie's automotive needs since 1971 and currently offers new BMW, Volkswagen, and Subaru vehicles as well as quality pre-owned. We're looking for a driven, detail-oriented Business Manager to join our team in the finance office.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Business Manager, you'll work directly with customers after they've selected a vehicle to finalize the deal. You'll arrange financing, present and sell products, and complete all the paperwork accurately and in compliance with state and federal regulations. This is a high-impact role that blends sales skill with attention to detail — your work protects both the customer and the dealership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Present financing and leasing options to customers and secure loan approvals through our lender network Present and sell products including extended service contracts, GAP coverage, and vehicle protection plans Structure deals to maximize profitability while ensuring customers understand and are comfortable with every option Submit and follow up on credit applications, negotiate rates and terms with lenders, and obtain funding Accurately complete all required paperwork: purchase contracts, financing documents, title and registration paperwork, and disclosures Ensure every deal complies with applicable state and federal regulations (Truth in Lending, OFAC, Red Flags, privacy laws, etc.) Verify customer identity and information to prevent fraud Maintain strong relationships with lenders and continually work to add new financing sources Meet or exceed monthly goals for product penetration and per-vehicle revenue (PVR) Coordinate with the sales team to ensure a smooth, timely handoff and a great customer experience Keep accurate records and submit deals to accounting promptly and completely
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Previous automotive sales experience Solid understanding of financing, lending, and dealership paperwork Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage paperwork accurately under deadlines Comfortable working in a goal-driven, commission-based environment High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred:
2+ years of automotive F&I experience Established relationships with local and regional lenders Familiarity with dealership software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, RouteOne) F&I certification or completion of an F&I training program
