Accounting Manager Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred Minimum of 5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management experience required Previous experience in a senior accounting, accounting manager, or financial leadership role preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger management Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll administration, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes Experience with QuickBooks, ERP systems, or similar accounting software preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality Construction, contracting, manufacturing, or project-based accounting experience is a plus Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and general ledger activity Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and key performance metrics Assist leadership with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning initiatives Monitor company expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to support business objectives Manage account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial record accuracy Support job costing and project-related financial reporting Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax professionals, financial institutions, and insurance providers Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable regulations What We Offer:
