Job Description

This opportunity as a Senior Investment Officer with Security National Trust Company, will be based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. However, position responsibilities will include serving clients in other markets including Huntington, WV, Pittsburgh PA, and in non-market locations. Job Description Manages accounts in accordance with investment objectives that have been developed with the client. Provide specialized advice on portfolio investment strategy. Responsible for delivering investment experience to clients by providing market insight and reporting on investment results. Maintains expert level knowledge of complex investment and asset management strategies. Responsible for maintaining and growing assets under management. May lead the sales efforts of the business through the expansion of services provided to the client. Manage risk by adhering to bank's policies and procedures. Expectations Client Focused

  • Maintain regular communications via phone, e-mail, virtual meetings, and in
  • person meetings. Skilled in developing presentation materials e.g. PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheets, and incorporating 3rd party investment research to explain results, and support recommendations. Fiduciary behavior
  • Deliver client service and conduct bank business in the best interest of the client by adhering to fiduciary duties of loyalty, care, good faith, confidentiality, prudence, and others.
Competency Investment & Portfolio Management, Relationship Management, Business Development, and Effective Communication. Computer Skills Expertise in computer-based equity, fixed income, and mutual fund trading platforms. Experience with trust accounting systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Work Experience Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years. A combination of education, job specific certifications, and experience (including military service) may be considered. Education Roles at this level typically require a
BS/BA/BBA
degree in a relevant major such as finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or general business. The MBA degree with a concentration in finance, asset management or investment management is highly desirable. Certifications Professional certifications such as CFA, CFP or CTFA are highly desirable. Licenses No professional licensing is required.
