Job Description
Accounting Manager A client of ours is looking for an Accounting Manager for a contract role to lead core accounting functions within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for financial reporting, month-end close, and maintaining accurate financial records while leveraging SAP to drive efficiency and consistency. Responsibilities of Accounting Manager Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timelinessPrepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAPManage and improve financial reporting processes, including variance analysis and internal reporting packagesUtilize SAP to support general ledger, reporting, and operational accounting activitiesPartner with operations and plant leadership to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting in a manufacturing settingSupervise and develop accounting staff, providing guidance on processes and best practicesEnsure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external audit requirementsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activitiesIdentify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and data accuracy
