We're looking for an Accounting Manager who wants more than just a job—you'll have ownership of your own client base and play a key role in shaping both client success and our internal team. What You'll Be Doing This role blends client work, team leadership, and advisory —no two days are exactly the same. Client Management

• Oversee a portfolio of small business clients
• Review monthly financials and ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Be the go-to person for client questions (accounting, payroll, tax-related)
• Build strong relationships through regular communication
• Provide guidance and proactive support—not just reports Team Leadership
• Supervise and support a team of bookkeepers
• Review work, answer questions, and help them grow
• Keep workflows moving and step in when needed
• Hold quick weekly check-ins to stay aligned Tax & Advisory
• Prepare and review business and individual tax returns
• Help clients plan ahead so there are no surprises at year-end
• Monitor estimates and overall tax strategy New Client Onboarding
• Help bring new clients on board and set them up for success
• Handle initial cleanup/back work and transition to your team Firm Growth
• Identify opportunities to better serve clients
• Ask for referrals and help grow the firm organically What We're Looking For
• 3+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or client-facing preferred)
• CPA, EA or are working toward it
• Experience managing multiple clients at once
• Experience supervising or mentoring others
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, payroll, and tax
• Someone who is organized, responsive, and takes ownership
• Comfortable working directly with clients and building relationships

$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
