This role works closely with the sales team, lenders, and customers to deliver a transparent, efficient, and profitable vehicle purchasing experience. The Finance Manager is expected to maximize finance and insurance product penetration, maintain strong lender relationships, and uphold the dealership's customer satisfaction standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Present financing, leasing, and aftermarket product options to customers in a professional and compliant manner Secure vehicle financing through approved lending institutions Structure deals to maximize profitability while maintaining lender and dealership guidelines Explain and sell F&I products including: Vehicle service contracts GAP coverage Tire & wheel protection Maintenance plans Appearance protection products Credit insurance (where applicable) Ensure all deal paperwork is completed accurately and submitted promptly Verify compliance with all state and federal regulations including: Truth in Lending Act (TILA) OFAC compliance Red Flags Rule Privacy regulations Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Maintain relationships with banks, credit unions, and lending partners Review credit applications and analyze customer financial profiles Collaborate with sales managers to finalize deal structures and approvals Monitor funding status and resolve any contract discrepancies or stipulations Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores through excellent customer service Train and support sales staff on finance processes and product knowledge Meet or exceed dealership goals for finance penetration, product sales, and profitability Qualifications Previous automotive finance or automotive sales management experience preferred Strong understanding of dealership financing and lender programs Knowledge of Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, Dealertrack, RouteOne, or similar dealership software preferred Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of automotive dealership finance experience preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation structure including salary and commission opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match (if applicable) Paid time off and holidays Employee vehicle purchase program Work Environment Fast-paced dealership environment Weekend and evening availability may be required Primarily office-based with frequent customer interaction We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.Similar remote jobs
