Highlights of the Operations Finance Manager Role High-visibility role supporting distribution, logistics, and supply chain leadership Direct impact on cost control, working capital, and profitability Strategic involvement in forecasting, budgeting, and transformation initiatives Opportunity to partner cross-functionally with operations and executive leadership ERP/SAP-driven environment with strong analytical focus Key Responsibilities of the Operations Finance Manager Drive Operational Financial Performance Own financial oversight of logistics, freight, and distribution cost centers Analyze variances, identify cost drivers, and provide actionable insights Optimize working capital and resource utilization across supply chain operations Proactively mitigate cost risks and protect contribution margin Forecasting & Financial Planning Lead monthly outlooks and quarterly forecasts for COGS, freight, and distribution Support budgeting aligned with S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes Deliver accurate working capital forecasts tied to logistics operations Improve forecast transparency and reliability across a 15+ month horizon Support Strategic Initiatives Partner on logistics and fulfillment transformation projects (cost savings, efficiencies) Validate financial assumptions, timelines, and projected outcomes Develop standardized tools to measure and track project success Financial Operations & Systems Prepare and analyze cost allocations across sourcing and distribution channels Support SAP enhancements and serve as a key finance system resource Lead standard costing processes and ensure audit-ready financials Maintain accuracy across inventory, assets, and fulfillment expenses #Lancaster10 Qualifications for the Operations Finance Manager Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 6-10 years of finance experience within manufacturing, logistics, or distribution Strong background in distribution center costing and freight analysis Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close ERP experience required (SAP strongly preferred) Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills Deep understanding of working capital and inventory control Ability to partner with operations and influence decision-making EOE
