This role offers a clear growth path to Accounting Manager as the organization continues to expand, with increased leadership responsibility and visibility over time The Accounting Manager's Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To Oversee day to day accounting operations including accounts payable, bank transactions, general ledger activity, and account reconciliations Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and trial balances to ensure accuracy and timeliness Prepare, analyze, and review quarterly and year end financial statements in accordance with GAAP and statutory accounting principles Ensure compliance with insurance industry regulations and support all statutory reporting requirements, including state filings Assist with the coordination and preparation of year end audit materials and support external auditors as needed Maintain strong internal controls and identify opportunities to enhance processes and department efficiencies Provide leadership, coaching, and development to accounting staff, including performance feedback and goal setting Partner cross functionally with other departments to support company standards and finance related initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Industry experience insurance, financial services, or another regulated environment is a plus Prior supervisory or team lead experience required EB-3720945708
