This is a flexible, part-time remote position ideal for someone who understands the business side of interior design and enjoys working across both financial and creative operations. Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Administration Accounts payable and receivable Client invoicing and payment tracking Vendor payment processing Credit card and bank reconciliations Job costing and project profitability reporting Coordination with CPA and bookkeeping team Procurement & Project Support Manage purchase orders and vendor communications Track orders, deliveries, and project timelines Coordinate with vendors, workrooms, and installers Maintain project budgets and procurement schedules Proposal & Presentation Development Prepare client proposals and specifications Curate furnishings, materials, and product selections from designer direction Create polished client-facing presentations and proposal packages Maintain product pricing and vendor information Assist with design documentation and project organization Qualifications Experience working with an interior design firm preferred Proficiency with Studio Designer, Design Manager, or similar interior design software Strong QuickBooks Online experience Excellent written communication skills Strong eye for presentation and organization Ability to manage multiple projects independently Knowledge of furniture procurement and design industry vendors is highly desirable Position Details Part-time, remote Flexible schedule Opportunity for long-term growth Compensation commensurate with experience We are seeking someone who enjoys both the operational and creative aspects of the interior design business and can help support a thoughtful, detail-driven design practice.
