Job DescriptionJob Description Overview We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager, General Ledger to lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting. This role will oversee general ledger operations, supervise a team, and partner cross-functionally to support a fast-paced, multi-entity organization. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain strong internal controls Oversee preparation and review of financial statements and variance analysis (P&L fluctuations) Manage consolidations, eliminations, and intercompany transactions Review calculations for royalties, bonuses, commissions, and intercompany agreements Supervise and develop accounting staff, including performance management and goal setting Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Tax) on financial and operational matters Support audit processes, debt compliance reporting, and ad hoc analysis Drive process improvements and maintain accounting policies and procedures Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred) 5+ years of experience in public and/or corporate accounting 2+ years of management experience Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting Skills & Expertise Deep understanding of month-end close, debits/credits, and GL processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) Experience working in ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) Proven ability to work in hands-on, fast-paced environments , including manual processes Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Additional Details Hybrid schedule (initial in-office training period required) Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
