Job Description:

A growing organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives. This role will work closely with finance leadership and play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening internal controls, and supporting the company's ongoing operational growth. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, experience managing month-end close activities, and the ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily accounting operations with a strong focus on accounts payable and general ledger activities Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial analyses Maintain accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis Assist with revenue recognition and other technical accounting matters Manage statutory reporting requirements, tax-related filings, and compliance initiatives Serve as a liaison for external auditors and assist with audit preparation Develop, document, and improve accounting policies and procedures Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements across accounting functions Partner cross-functionally with finance and operational teams to strengthen internal controls and reporting accuracy Support special projects and strategic finance initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required 6+ years of progressive accounting experience required Strong knowledge of GAAP required Experience with revenue recognition accounting standards preferred ERP system experience required; experience with NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP preferred Advanced Excel skills required Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a hybrid environment

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred Public accounting or professional services background preferred SOX compliance or internal audit experience preferred IFRS exposure is a plus SQL or database experience is a plus Experience working within multinational organizations is preferred Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
