Job Description

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing core accounting functions, leading the monthly close process, audit and compliance efforts, forecasting and budgeting, and providing guidance for the Aftermarket Parts Solutions organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial statements, performing margin and SG&A analysis, and providing actionable insights to meet divisional KPI's. Hybrid Your Responsibilities:
Provide direction and leadership in the management of accounting practices and develop policies in accordance with GAAP. Prepare and approve journal entries and complete reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts. Inventory analysis and Reserves accounting, including Warranty and Obsolescence calculations. Collaborate with operations and supply chain to optimize levels and turns. Perform variance analysis and complete bridge reports on actuals vs. targets or prior results. Reconcile sales and cost of goods sold and review profitability by selling location. Provide margin analysis on product categories and give recommendations for pricing strategies. Financial planning with annual budget creation, revised budget, and making forecast changes. Lead the annual cost roll process and standards revision. Drive process improvement and act as a key business partner for divisional teams. Interact with outside auditors and participates in occasional auditing projects. Manage employees by establishing goals, reviewing progress, and providing feedback during performance reviews. Develop and determine priorities and monitor the status of special projects on an ongoing basis. Occasional travel to support inventory counts or support operations.
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting OR a total of 10 years of progressive accounting experience in lieu of a degree Knowledge of major ERP & consolidation systems, technical accounting

The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls.
