Job Description:
LHH is seeking an Accounting Manager to join a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization within the service industry in Irving, TX. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who combines strong technical expertise with team management experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial close, process improvement, and ERP systems, along with the ability to partner cross-functionally to drive accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting. This position pays 130K-140K+Bonus and offers a Hybrid work schedule. Job Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Lead the monthly and annual close processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and internal policies Manage revenue recognition, accruals, and expense allocations in a high-volume environment Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff while remaining actively involved in day-to-day activities Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting quality Support audit activities, including preparation and response to external audit requests Assist with ERP system management, enhancements, and implementations Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial close processes Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Workday or similar platforms) Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities CPA or CPA-eligible preferred; experience in high-volume or operational environments a plus If you are interested in this job or other Accounting and Finance career opportunities from LHH please email Rami Muhanna at rami.muhanna@lhh.com or visit our website at www.lhh.com.
