This is a high-visibility role working directly with a top-tier Controller and leadership team, with a clear path to future Controller-level responsibility as the company continues to scale through organic growth and M&A. Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations and team oversight. Own monthly and year-end close processes. Prepare and present financial reporting packages with variance analysis. Maintain and improve accounting policies, controls, and GAAP compliance. Drive automation and process improvements. Support M&A activity, including integration and due diligence. Develop dashboards and insights for senior leadership. Remain hands-on while mentoring and developing the team. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or other certification strongly preferred. 5+ years of accounting experience, supervisory experience a must. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting processes, and multi-entity consolidation. Proven experience owning and managing the close process in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated people management and team development skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities — you can present financial findings clearly to a non-finance audience. High attention to detail with a proactive, self-starter mindset and the ability to manage tight deadlines. Experience with a cloud-based ERP system. Exposure to M&A activity including due diligence and post-acquisition integration a plus. Background in a multi-entity, operationally complex, or technology-forward organization.
