Reporting to the Corporate CFO, the Controller will be the senior accounting leader within the group, responsible for building a lean, high-performing finance team. This role will oversee all core accounting functions—A/R, A/P, payroll, financial close, and reporting—while also supporting areas such as HR, treasury, legal, and risk management. •Hybrid work schedule Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable, Payable & Payroll Manage A/R processes including invoicing, collections, and cash applications. Monitor aging reports and resolve overdue accounts. Oversee A/P, including vendor invoices, reimbursements, and payment runs. Partner with HR to ensure timely, accurate payroll processing. Ensure compliance with company policies and recommend process improvements. Financial Close Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements. Implement enhancements to ensure full GAAP compliance. Reporting & Analysis Develop budgets and forecasts. Perform variance analysis against actual results. Deliver actionable financial insights and management reporting. Business Partnership Work with business leaders to understand financial needs and provide decision support. Offer proactive recommendations to improve operations and profitability. Foster collaboration and clear communication across teams. Compliance & Controls Ensure adherence to GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory standards. Maintain documentation and coordinate with external tax and audit advisors. Strengthen internal controls to safeguard financial integrity. Team Leadership Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team. Conduct reviews, provide coaching, and support professional development. Encourage collaboration in a remote-first environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA strongly preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role. Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel skills. Strong GAAP expertise and solid accounting fundamentals.
