4/27/2026 Corporate Accounting / Cost Accounting Manager (MD) Fairfield, NJ (hybrid) Well-established supplement manufacturer seeks a CPA to lead a newly created hybrid role combining strategic accounting, cost management, and pricing oversight, with a clear growth path to Controller.

Responsibilities:

Maintain product costing (materials, labor, overhead) and analyze manufacturing variances to improve profitability. Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliations, and excess / obsolete reporting. Lead monthly / quarterly / year-end close processes and financial statement reviews. Prepare GL entries, account reconciliations, and budget development. Supervise staff accountant and own pricing / quoting functions. Monitor internal controls and assist with audits.

Requirements:

CPA and Accounting degree required. 2+ years general accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing. Strong GAAP knowledge and prior supervisory experience. SAP experience preferred.
