Are you an experienced accounting leader looking to make an impact within a growing, mission-driven organization? Gorman & Company is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to join our corporate office in Oregon, Wisconsin. This hybrid position offers a flexible schedule with four days in the office and one remote workday each week. In this role, you'll oversee a team of two accounting professionals while helping drive financial accuracy, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement across our organization. What You'll Do Lead day-to-day corporate accounting operations, including general ledger, cash management, and transaction processing Oversee monthly and annual close processes, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and variance analysis Review journal entries, payroll reconciliations, cash disbursements, and banking transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals while providing coaching and performance feedback Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, internal controls, and regulatory filings Partner with leadership to improve accounting processes and support strategic business initiatives Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and financial reporting standards What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within real estate, construction, or corporate accounting environments Previous leadership or supervisory experience with a passion for developing team members Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes Advanced proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and financial analysis with exceptional attention to detail Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary starting at $120-$125,000 annually Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage 401(k) with up to 6% company match 18 days of paid time off annually 11.5 paid holidays each year Paid parental leave Lifestyle spending accounts Pet insurance Gym reimbursement program Discretionary annual bonus opportunity Hybrid work schedule (4 days in-office, 1 remote day per week) If you're ready to bring your accounting expertise and leadership skills to a collaborative organization committed to building strong communities, we'd love to hear from you.
