About us Uptown Hospitality is a hospitality investment and asset management organization based in Tulsa, OK. This role would support the financial administration of the asset management operations team. CPA preferred.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager or Bookkeeper to oversee our finance and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial activities, regulatory reporting, and ensuring efficient treasury management.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals.
Oversee budgeting processes and ensure financial stability.
Handle monthly intercompany billings and employee expense reports as needed.
Process payroll for up to 10 employees.
Coordinate employee benefits.
Manage regulatory reporting requirements and compliance
Supervise treasury management activities
Conduct cost accounting and cost management analysis
Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy
Utilize financial software for reporting and analysis
Ensure compliance with GAAP and technical accounting standards
Lead general ledger accounting functions
Qualifications:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and regulatory reporting
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and general ledger reconciliation
Proficiency in financial software applications
Familiarity with GAAP and technical accounting standards
