Job Description

About us Uptown Hospitality is a hospitality investment and asset management organization based in Tulsa, OK. This role would support the financial administration of the asset management operations team. CPA preferred.
  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager or Bookkeeper to oversee our finance and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial activities, regulatory reporting, and ensuring efficient treasury management.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals.
  • Oversee budgeting processes and ensure financial stability.
  • Handle monthly intercompany billings and employee expense reports as needed.
  • Process payroll for up to 10 employees.
  • Coordinate employee benefits.
  • Manage regulatory reporting requirements and compliance
  • Supervise treasury management activities
  • Conduct cost accounting and cost management analysis
  • Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy
  • Utilize financial software for reporting and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and technical accounting standards
  • Lead general ledger accounting functions
  • Qualifications:
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
  • Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and regulatory reporting
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and general ledger reconciliation
  • Proficiency in financial software applications
  • Familiarity with GAAP and technical accounting standards
