About us Uptown Hospitality is a hospitality investment and asset management organization based in Tulsa, OK. This role would support the financial administration of the asset management operations team. CPA preferred.
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager or Bookkeeper to oversee our finance and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial activities, regulatory reporting, and ensuring efficient treasury management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals.
- Oversee budgeting processes and ensure financial stability.
- Handle monthly intercompany billings and employee expense reports as needed.
- Process payroll for up to 10 employees.
- Coordinate employee benefits.
- Manage regulatory reporting requirements and compliance
- Supervise treasury management activities
- Conduct cost accounting and cost management analysis
- Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy
- Utilize financial software for reporting and analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and technical accounting standards
- Lead general ledger accounting functions
Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
- Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and regulatory reporting
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and general ledger reconciliation
- Proficiency in financial software applications
- Familiarity with GAAP and technical accounting standards
