Job Summary:
This position focuses on structuring profitable and compliant transactions for North America Digital Marketing Sales force. The role acts in a fiduciary capacity for first-line deal approvals, aiming to maximize revenue and increase sales team effectiveness. This involves identifying customer business issues, structuring mutually beneficial transactions, and ensuring adherence to revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Structure profitable and compliant transactions addressing internal corporate customer needs, maximizing Adobe revenue, and increasing sales force effectiveness. Act in a fiduciary capacity managing first-line approvals for the deal approval process, including deal structuring and accelerating deal closures. Meet with sales teams to identify critical customer business issues and assist in structuring transactions. Manage the day-to-day deal approval process, including communication via documented business cases with cross-functional stakeholders to articulate deal value. Draft and certify customer contracts. Perform to a specified set of metrics and service levels. Ensure adherence to and compliance with policy and procedures. Interact with internal stakeholders including Legal, Sales Operations, Sales Finance, Revenue Assurance, Business Units, Order Management, and Credit. Regularly communicate with sales teams to ensure consistent application of process and policy. Ensure transactions adhere internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines. Prepare in-quarter deal status reports and communicate to management. Evaluate current processes and offer recommendations for improvement.
Must-Have Skills:
Bachelors in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in FP&A, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, or Deal Desk. Experience drafting and analyzing binding sales agreements. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders. Experience in structuring multi-element contracts including subscriptions, licenses, services, and support. Proficient in software revenue recognition accounting, SOP 97-2 and related standards. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
