(CAAC) is a leading multi-site specialty physician practice dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and adults who suffer from allergy, asthma, and immunology-related illnesses. With multiple clinic locations across Colorado, CAAC is seeking a strategic, operationally focused, and highly collaborative leader to serve as our Director of Patient Finance & Revenue Cycle. This senior leadership role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of revenue cycle operations across a growing, multi-site physician practice organization. The Director will lead the Patient Finance Office (PFO), optimize financial performance, strengthen operational processes, improve patient financial experience, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting organizational growth initiatives. Position Summary The Director of Patient Finance & Revenue Cycle provides leadership and oversight for all centralized revenue cycle functions, including billing, coding support, claims management, collections, denial management, patient financial services, credentialing, prior authorizations, specialty pharmacy support, and buy-and-bill operations. This position partners closely with executive leadership, clinic managers, providers, and external vendors to drive operational excellence, maximize reimbursement, improve cash flow, and support a high-quality patient experience across multiple clinic locations. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership for all revenue cycle functions across a multi-site physician practice organization Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Patient Finance Office team Oversee billing operations, claims processing, payment posting, denial management, appeals, collections, refunds, and accounts receivable performance Monitor and improve key revenue cycle metrics including net collection rate, denial trends, aging, reimbursement accuracy, and cash flow performance Collaborate with executive leadership and clinic operations to improve workflows, operational efficiency, and patient financial communication Develop, implement, and maintain revenue cycle policies, procedures, controls, and best practices Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Produce regular management reports, dashboards, and performance analytics for executive leadership Oversee provider credentialing and payer enrollment processes Support payer contract analysis and operational aspects of payer negotiations Manage vendor relationships, including clearinghouses, billing platforms, and third-party service providers Ensure compliance with all HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, payer, and regulatory requirements Partner with clinical and operational leaders to support organizational growth, process improvement, and strategic initiatives Maintain working knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, regulatory changes, and industry trends Assist with implementation and optimization of EMR and revenue cycle technology platforms Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement Why Join CAAC? Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field preferred Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management within a physician practice or multi-site healthcare organization Strong understanding of medical billing, collections, coding, reimbursement methodologies, and revenue cycle operations Experience managing physician practice accounts receivable and denial management processes Knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and specialty pharmacy reimbursement Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing operational performance in a fast-paced healthcare environment Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of financial statements, revenue cycle KPIs, and operational reporting Experience with EMR/practice management systems and healthcare financial applications Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives, and work independently High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail Foster culture of customer service and employee satisfaction Preferred Experience Multi-site physician practice experience Specialty practice revenue cycle experience Experience with buy-and-bill pharmacy operations and prior authorization workflows Experience with payer contracting support and reimbursement analysis Familiarity with healthcare operational improvement initiatives and workflow redesign
