Finance & Accounting Manager ???? Robert Half is partnering with a growing organization to identify a Finance & Accounting Manager. This is a highly visible leadership role that combines both accounting oversight and strategic financial planning & analysis responsibilities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting while also serving as a business partner to leadership through budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Finance Manager or a strong Senior Accountant/Senior Financial Analyst ready to step into a management position overseeing a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the month-end close process, including reconciliations, consolidations, financial statement preparation, and intercompany accounting
  • Ensure compliance with
US GAAP, SOX
requirements, and internal controls
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger activities, financial reporting, and process improvements
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic business initiatives
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
  • Prepare and present monthly business reviews, KPI reporting, variance analyses, and profitability analyses
  • Develop revenue, cash flow, working capital, and operational forecasts
  • Drive process improvements across finance and accounting functions to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Manage finance initiatives related to internal controls, capital expenditures, and operational performance
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop two direct reports
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (equivalent experience considered)
  • Strong blend of accounting and FP&A experience
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and management reporting
  • Solid accounting leadership background, including month-end close, reconciliations, consolidations, and financial reporting
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leadership and influence business decisions through financial insights
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Collaborative leadership style with a growth mindset and willingness to be hands-on
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Project-based accounting experience
  • CPA, CMA, and/or MBA
  • Prior supervisory experience or demonstrated readiness to lead a team
