We operate a multi-entity corporate structure with clients ranging from national, Fortune 500 enterprises to small and medium sized businesses, encompassing sports and entertainment, facilities services, event services and expanding into critical industrial services and infrastructure. We're looking for a Finance and Accounting Manager to own our financial operations and work directly with the founder on planning, strategy, and long-term growth. What You'll Do Own the day-to-day accounting: AR, AP, payroll, month-end close and reconciliation Assist in managing multi-state payroll and compliance requirements Prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow reporting Build and maintain budgets and forward-looking financial models Support contract pricing and margin analysis across client engagements Track and report on financial performance by client, market, and service line Identify opportunities to improve margin through operational efficiencies and cost savings Support lender and banking relationships with accurate, timely reporting Work directly with founder on financial strategy, decision making and expansion Support tax preparation activities by providing relevant financial data and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Requirements Bachelor's or advanced degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field 3+ years in public accounting, FP&A or corporate finance, with exposure to both operational accounting and financial planning Strong foundation in AR, AP, payroll, and general ledger accounting Experience building and interpreting three statement financial models, operational models and financial projections Experience and proficiency with QuickBooks Online required Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently, build, refine and own processes and identify areas of improvement Motivated to play a key role in building, solidifying, and scaling financial, back office, and operational efficiencies across services and geographies Nice to Have CPA or CPA-track Technical accounting experience, corporate FP&A or investment banking background Experience with lender relationships, treasury management and multi-entity compliance Multi-state and multi-jurisdictional payroll, tax, or relevant compliance experience Experience with or managing corporate governance, contracts, and insurance a plus but not required Experience with intercompany transactions and eliminations Experience in industrial services, workforce management, client relationships or consulting in related fields a plus Experience using and/or building with AI tools, LLMs, and APIs helpful but not required Compensation Compensation includes base salary commensurate with experience, with potential for performance-based bonus and long-term growth opportunity as the company scales.
