Finance Business Partner (FP&A)

Piper Companies is seeking a Finance Business Partner (FP&A) to support commercial performance within the consumer products industry. The Finance Business Partner (FP&A) plays a critical role in partnering with Sales & Marketing leaders and cross‑functional teams to drive profitability, improve forecasting accuracy, and identify revenue opportunities. The Finance Business Partner (FP&A) is a full time role with the company and requires you to work on site 2 days per week in Greensboro, NC. Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner (FP&A): Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital. Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and ROI evaluation. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Insights, People & Culture, and R D to support data‑driven decisions. Analyze volume, pricing, mix, COGS, and A&P spend; explain variances and recommend actions. Develop standardized reporting packages and KPIs to improve visibility and accountability. Drive continuous improvement through process standardization, automation, and improved data visualization (Power BI, Power Query). Requirements of the Finance Business Partner (FP&A): Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 8+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or a related role. Prior experience in a Manufacturing or Consumer Products Environment Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities. Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Compensation for the Finance Business Partner (FP&A): •$150,000 - $170,000 base salary •
