Job Description:
Tatum by Randstad is working with a manufacturing company located in the Fremont, CA area that is in need of an interim Finance Manager to come in and cover for a maternity leave. The company is on a hybrid schedule and looking for a consultant to come in for a period of 6-7 months. The person taking on this project should have prior experience working in the manufacturing industry and supporting the operations function with monthly/quarterly reporting. The person taking on this interim project would be handling the following duties: Responsibilities Responsible for preparing weekly and monthly reports related to production by line; labor utilization; and waste variance trends. Support the month end function with the following: inventory adjustments; budget vs. variance corrections; and production variances. Prepare ad hoc analysis related to the following: overhead spend, production inefficiencies, and labor Participate in weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings with plant/production management and senior leadership Responsible for driving process improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required CPA or MBA is desired 7-10 years of fp&a experience in the manufacturing industry is required Advanced excel skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels Apply to this Interim Finance Manager opportunity today!!
