Job Description

Join a Mission-Driven Team Building the Future of Drones We're looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of our financial operations and help us scale smart. This is a hands-on role where you'll manage the day-to-day financials while building the reporting and systems we need to grow into a multi-location company. HLE Drones is the parent company to www.nuwayag.com, and www.dronedeerrecovery.com. We deal in drones, and the supporting products and services. You don't need drone experience—we'll teach you the business. What we need is someone who's sharp with numbers, sees the story behind the data, and wants to build something that matters. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own the Numbers Manage day-to-day financial operations alongside our existing bookkeeper Own the monthly close process and make sure our books are accurate and current Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management Keep QuickBooks, Finale Inventory, and Shopify data clean and reconciled across systems Build Reporting That Drives Decisions Create financial reports that give leadership clear visibility into performance Build dashboards and tracking for revenue, margins, expenses, and cash position Turn raw data into insights—not just what happened, but what it means and what to do next Deliver weekly and monthly financial updates to the leadership team Plan for Growth Build budgets, forecasts, and financial models as we scale Support new retail store openings—build-out budgets, lease analysis, break-even projections Set up accounting and inventory systems for new locations Help leadership make confident financial decisions with solid data behind them Strengthen Systems and Controls Identify gaps in our current financial processes and fix them Improve how we track cost of goods, inventory accuracy, and margins Implement internal controls that scale with a growing, multi-location business Evaluate and recommend new tools or system upgrades as we outgrow current setups
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (experience with inventory management systems is a plus) Comfortable building financial reports, models, and forecasts from scratch Detail-oriented and organized—you catch what others miss Strong communicator who can explain financial data to non-finance people Self-motivated and resourceful—you don't wait to be told what needs fixing Comfortable in a fast-growing, changing environment where you'll wear multiple hats Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
WHERE THIS ROLE GOES
This isn't a dead-end position. We're growing fast and we need someone who can grow with us. Prove you can own the responsibility, build the systems, and lead with integrity—and this role has a clear path to Controller or Finance Director. You'll also have the opportunity to build and lead a finance team as the company expand

POSITION DETAILS
Full-time, in-person or hybrid role Salary range: $70,000-$90,000 depending on experience Paid time off + holidays Additional benefits being added as we grow
