Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst to lead financial planning, business analysis, forecasting, and reporting activities. Reporting to the CFO, this role partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial insights that support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.

Exempt Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM EST. This position may require additional time exceeding 40 hours per week during peak periods. Tasks and Accountabilities Financial Analysis Analyze revenue, operating costs, margins, and overall profitability Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions and strategic initiatives Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiency Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as needed by leadership. Business Partnering Collaborate with departments including Sales, Finance, and Operations to support business objectives Provide financial insights and guidance to support operational decision-making Build strong cross-functional relationships to improve financial visibility and accountability Back up support to various financial systems Support department leaders with KPI tracking and performance analysis Strategic Planning Support long-term financial and business planning processes Evaluate new business opportunities, investments, and cost-saving initiatives Assist in developing strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and market trends Partner with leadership on growth and profitability strategies Budgeting & Forecasting Collaborate with finance/accounting team to prepare and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts Monitor actual financial performance against budget and forecast expectations Analyze and explain budget variances, trends, and key business drivers Support rolling forecasts and scenario planning initiatives Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management Create dashboards and presentations that communicate key financial metrics and business insights Present findings, recommendations, and performance updates to senior leadership Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial reporting Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 2-5+ years of experience in FP & A, corporate finance, or related financial analysis roles Strong financial modeling and analytical skills Advanced proficiency in Excel, data management and financial reporting tools Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), business intelligence tools (Vena, Power BI, NetStock, Filemaker) and use of AI tools for data analysis. Preferred Skills Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills
