  • expected to be 6 months to start Overview This role owns the accuracy, timeliness, and GAAP integrity of financial reporting across a portfolio of investments and fund vehicles.
It is responsible for the monthly and quarterly close, consolidation work, fair value support, and the analytical review that underpins how leadership reads portfolio performance and makes decisions. The Manager works closely with portfolio management, valuations, tax, treasury, and external auditors to keep financial data trustworthy across the full lifecycle of an investment — from the day it's acquired to the day it's exited. The role also plays a part in onboarding new investments, supporting deal activity, and managing liquidity across a set of layered investment structures. What You'll Do Close process and ongoing analysis Own the review of balance sheet reconciliations Handle the accounting for individual investments — building investment-level financials where needed by rolling up underlying entity trial balances and layering in required GAAP adjustments, including fair value measurement under ASC 820 Manage accounting for investment-level debt, tax accruals, insurance payables, and other non-operating liabilities Support the valuations team with investment and debt schedules, fair value journal entries, and cost/debt roll-forwards Calculate and account for management and other fee arrangements at the investment and/or fund level Review balance sheet reconciliations and conduct analytical reviews of how individual investments are performing Drive completion and review of the month-end and quarter-end checklist Build out audit, tax, and valuation support schedules Review quarterly and annual financial reporting, including GAAP-required consolidations Review investment
  • and fund-level return calculations and help explain variances Transaction-related work Handle the accounting for acquisitions and dispositions, including booking the associated funding Help stand up new accounting structures as deals close Cash and liquidity oversight Track cash positions and liquidity needs across investment structures; approve invoice settlements and coordinate capital calls and distributions with the broader team Approve non-operating accruals and accounts payable Prepare and/or review reporting to third-party lenders, and support other teams in calculating loan covenant compliance
