Job Description

An Asset Manager in LA is looking to bring on a Hybrid Wholesaler focused on expanding relationships with financial advisors, RIAs, and select institutional consulting firms. This role involves representing the firm's investment strategies-including mutual funds, CITs, and separate accounts-to medium and large RIAs, independent broker-dealers, regional banks, and OCIOs. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, collaborative, and passionate about building meaningful client relationships. This is a hybrid role with a mix of virtual and in-person engagement, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and opportunities for growth. Key Responsibilities Support efforts to raise assets across commingled fund strategies by engaging with advisor prospects and clients. Conduct outreach via phone, email, Zoom, and other platforms, with increasing in-person meetings over time. Identify new business opportunities and begin cultivating relationships. Share relevant market insights and product information confidently and independently. Collaborate with the broader team on marketing strategies, materials, and business priorities. Assist with platform-related tasks such as availability, fee structures, and onboarding processes. Coordinate with fund operations and contribute to internal initiatives that support business development. Key Qualifications 4-6 years of experience in mutual fund or ETF sales. Strong understanding of fixed income; passion for investing is essential. Self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills. Comfortable with rejection and persistent in pursuing new opportunities. Team-oriented, yet capable of driving projects independently. Enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
