Lease Administrator (AP & Rent Validation Focus) Confidential Client | Addison, TX (Hybrid) A well-established and growing organization in the commercial real estate services space is seeking a Lease Administrator to join their team. This is a growth-driven hire due to portfolio expansion, offering the opportunity to step into a highly analytical, operations-focused role with long-term stability. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in numbers-driven environments , enjoy reconciling complex financial data , and can confidently manage high-volume workflows while maintaining accuracy. Role Overview This is not a traditional lease administration role . While exposure to real estate is preferred, the core of this position centers around: Accounts Payable (AP) processing Rent validation and financial reconciliation Discrepancy resolution across multiple data sources You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of rent charges , validating financial obligations against lease terms, and serving as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external landlords. Key Responsibilities Manage a high-volume shared inbox (50-100+ items daily) tied to a dedicated portfolio Review landlord statements and validate rent charges against lease agreements Investigate and resolve discrepancies by: Requesting and reviewing tenant ledgers Pulling payment history Reconciling balances across invoices and systems Process full-cycle
AP:
Code invoices Enter into system Ensure timely payment processing Act as a point of contact for landlords , including handling escalations professionally Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely, high-volume throughput Partner cross-functionally to resolve billing and payment issues Required Qualifications 2-3+ years of experience in a corporate, finance, or operations environment Strong background in: Accounts Payable Invoice processing, coding, and reconciliation Demonstrated ability to: Work with large data sets and financial information Identify discrepancies and problem-solve independently High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail Experience managing high-volume workflows and competing priorities Strong communication skills, with the ability to navigate external stakeholder conversations Preferred Backgrounds Candidates with experience in the following areas tend to excel in this role: Commercial real estate / lease administration Loan processing or financial services Contract-heavy environments requiring data extraction and financial application Roles involving reconciliation of accounts, balances, or payment histories What Makes Someone Successful Naturally numbers-oriented with strong analytical instincts Able to quickly spot inconsistencies and resolve them efficiently Comfortable working in a heads-down, high-focus environment Organized and structured in managing high-volume workflows Professional and composed when handling challenging conversations Team & Culture Collaborative but quiet, execution-focused team environment Best suited for individuals who are: Self-directed Detail-oriented Comfortable working independently Hybrid schedule with intentional in-office collaboration
