ONSITE AT JOSTENS' MINNEAPOLIS HEADQUARTERS 3 DAYS/WEEK ABOUT YOU
Are you a strategic finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoys partnering directly with executive leadership to influence business outcomes? As Manager, Finance, you will serve as the primary finance business partner to Jostens' Chief Digital Officer, providing financial leadership, strategic modeling, forecasting, and decision support for the IT, Marketing and Digital organizations.
YOU WILL
Serve as the lead finance partner to the CDO and SVP of IT. Provide financial guidance, modeling, and strategic support to the Chief Digital Officer, SVP of IT and leadership teams. Develop complex financial models and business cases. Analyze revenue opportunities, cost structures, staffing plans, and investment scenarios to support strategic decision-making. Partner with executive leaders on planning and forecasting. Support annual planning, monthly forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities. Analyze and support IT performance. Provide reporting and insights on IT Spend, Internally Developed Software, and Enterprise IT Projects. Lead financial reporting and analysis. Develop reports and presentations that communicate key trends, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to leadership. Support strategic initiatives and projects. Serve as the finance subject matter expert on project teams by providing cost analysis, financial modeling, and technical accounting guidance. Manage expense planning and reporting. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual expense reporting while identifying key business drivers and opportunities for improvement. Ensure financial compliance and controls. Maintain adherence to accounting standards, SOX requirements, and internal control processes. Develop and mentor finance talent. Provide leadership, coaching, and development support to up to two direct reports. Typical/expected % of overnight travel: Up to 10%.
YOU HAVE
Education. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Preferred CPA, CMA, MBA, or related advanced credential. Progressive Finance Experience. 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or business partnership roles. Financial Modeling Expertise. Extensive experience building complex financial models involving revenue projections, cost drivers, and investment analysis. P&L Management Experience. Strong understanding of business unit financial performance, profitability analysis, and revenue reporting. Marketing & Digital Finance Knowledge. Experience supporting online channels, digital investments, media spend, and partnership marketing. IT Software & Capital Planning Knowledge. Understanding of IT capital expenditure planning and accounting treatment for internal-use software investments. Leadership Experience. Previous experience managing, coaching, and developing finance professionals. Executive Communication Skills. Ability to communicate financial concepts and recommendations to both executive and non-financial audiences. Technical Finance Expertise. Strong accounting knowledge combined with business acumen and strategic thinking. Advanced Systems & Analytics Skills. Expert-level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using planning and reporting tools such as Workday Adaptive, Incorta, or similar platforms. Preferred experience/proficiency with Oracle ERP system and Resource planning systems. Project Management Skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously. Cross-Functional Influence. Proven ability to build relationships and drive results across multiple organizational levels.

Our Finance team combines traditional financial planning, analysis and accounting with collaborative business decision-making and strategy, directly supporting leadership in Marketing, Sales, Digital & Operations. Team members are expected to analyze data and provide recommendations across our specialized products lines including Yearbooks, Class Rings, Graduation Products and Professional Sports. Through the utilization of best-in-class technical software, such as Workday Adaptive Planning, Incorta, SAP BPC, Oracle, Salesforce, & the Microsoft Suite, you will get to play a critical role in determining financial solutions that steer our business. Our Finance team is comprised of several subgroups, including decision support, FP&A, operations and corporate, but our success is directly related to a culture of cross-team collaboration.
