Job Description

Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis Our client, a rapidly growing AI technology company, is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to help build and scale its FP&A function.
Location:
Menlo Park, CA. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, 2-3 days/week in the office.
Job Description:
This role will serve as the primary internal FP&A lead, partnering closely with finance leadership to support forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making as the organization grows. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytically strong, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities:
Own core FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting and variance analysis for leadership Partner with finance and operational teams to understand business drivers and performance trends Support headcount planning, spend management, and capital allocation analysis Assist with board-level and executive reporting materials Help establish FP&A processes, reporting cadence, and analytical frameworks from the ground up Identify opportunities to improve data quality, automation, and financial visibility Support ad hoc financial analysis and strategic initiatives as the business scales
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical roles Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills Experience operating in high-growth or early-stage environments Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to: The individual's skill sets, experience, and training; Licensure and certifications; Office location and other geographic considerations; Other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco by Highspring notes that the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
