Job Description

Description The CMF Operations Manager - CSG Corporate Mortgage Finance, is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational management of Mortgage Servicing Assets (MSA) and Mortgage Warehouse Lending (MWL) while ensuring compliance with the policies and procedures of Huntington's Corporate Mortgage Finance Group (CMFG). The ideal candidate will bring 10 or more years of senior-level mortgage operations management experience, preferably in mortgage finance, along with strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. This position reports to the Head of CMF Operational Strategy and Execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Execution:
Lead the operational execution of mortgage warehouse facilities and mortgage servicing assets, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established service-level expectations across loan review, construction draw administration, collateral management, loan aging, margin maintenance, mark-to-market processes, counterparty oversight, and hedge monitoring. Apply subject matter expertise in loan products, secondary market execution, and warehouse lending controls to support sound operational and eligibility decisions. Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies, procedures and program guidelines. Leverage technology to create scalable solutions with appropriate controls, oversight, and reporting. Identify, analyze, and resolve operational issues in a timely manner, escalating as appropriate. Review and approve transaction exception requests within delegated authority and in accordance with bank policy.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, leadership, internal partners, and external stakeholders to support communication, collaboration, and problem resolution.
Reporting and Compliance:
Prepare and present operational reports and ad hoc reports that highlight operational performance and compliance with internal policies.
Team Development:
Lead, motivate, and develop team members through proactive coaching, mentoring, feedback, and performance management, including: Developing effective staffing and business strategies. Hiring and retaining qualified team members. Managing employee performance, including addressing underperformance. Supporting employee development and succession planning across the team. Provide performance objectives and feedback to team members on a consistent basis. Appropriately recognizing and rewarding behaviors and results that support the goals and objectives of the business unit and the bank. Properly rewarding team members financially through the approved incentive system, matching compensation with performance results.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent 10 or more years' experience in mortgage finance. A minimum of 7 years of senior-level mortgage operations management experience
Preferred Experience:
Operations management experience within mortgage warehouse finance or other specialty finance sectors, preferably in a fast-paced environment. 7 or more years of demonstrated ability to lead client-facing operational teams handling complex functions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and influence others. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently without compromising quality. Ability to resolve complex client service issues effectively. Professional presence with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related business tools. Strong client service orientation, with a results-driven and goal-focused approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
