Regional Revenue Manager Department :
Sales & Revenue Management Reports to : VP of Hotels The Revenue Manager is responsible for implementing revenue objectives and strategies which encompass all market segments. This position leads their hotel in meetings, analyzing trends in group and transient segments, exceeding budgeted goals, and setting group ceilings, target rates in conjunction with the sales team. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Oversee the revenue management strategy for your assigned portfolio of hotels
Drive market share and revenue performance through strategic pricing, inventory control, and business mix management
Assist assigned hotels in the development of pricing strategies for all market segments
Assist in the development of displacement analyses for prospective pieces of group business
Lead assigned portfolio of hotels through the forecasting process
Collaborate with above property teams to drive revenue for low demand time periods
Conduct bi-weekly revenue strategy meetings with assigned hotels
Maintain revenue, rate, and inventory system cleanliness, in compliance with brand standards
Effectively communicate current selling strategies to hotel level and above property teams
Consistently monitor competitive set pricing activity daily
Analyze STR Report and adjust strategy as needed to increase RevPar Index
Identify and act upon activities to drive RevPAR growth for assigned hotels
Manage property participation and production on OTAs and other distribution channels
Monitor all distribution channels to ensure content accuracy, rate parity and pricing integrity
Audit, on a quarterly basis, all property GDS listings and rate plans to ensure all are accurate
Aid in the development of the annual transient room's revenue budget
Provide guidance to hotel teams on rate/inventory system operations Specific qualifications for the role include:
One to three years related experience; Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hotel software (GRO, N2Pricing, OneYeild V2, RevIQ, BestRev) knowledge is required.
Strong organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with the ownership, management and peers.
Read, write and speak English fluently.
