  • CAPEX & Supply Operations is a high-impact, cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of Finance and Operations.
You will serve as the financial backbone for capital investment governance across MiniMed's global manufacturing sites, contract manufacturing partnerships, and supply chain infrastructure, translating complex capital portfolios into clear financial narratives, building scalable governance frameworks, and driving strategic decision-making across Operations, R D, IT, and Facilities. This role is hybrid onsite in Northridge, CA, 3+ days per week Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Capital Investment Governance Lead end-to-end financial governance for all capital investments across owned manufacturing sites, contract manufacturing, and supply chain infrastructure including plant expansions, capacity investments, and automation projects Partner with the Finance Director and Operations leaders to evaluate, prioritize, and track capital projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivering optimal ROI Standardize capital request submissions across multiple disciplines (Operations, R D, IT, Facilities), creating consistency and transparency from project initiation through multi-level approval Develop and maintain long-term capital allocation plans, providing data-driven insight to balance competing projects vying for fixed resources Ensure compliance with corporate capital expenditure policies and maintain a robust internal control environment Finance-Operations Partnership Serve as the critical link between Finance and Project Management teams translating Finance direction into actionable spend schedules while providing Finance with accurate, timely forecasts Equip Project Managers with tools, templates, and frameworks that improve capital forecasting accuracy and budget visibility Support monthly, quarterly, and annual capital planning cycles including budget submissions, reforecasts, and long-range planning Develop dashboards and reporting packages that give Finance leadership and senior Operations stakeholders real-time visibility into capital portfolio health Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives Lead or support high-priority transformation and savings initiatives, build financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives, including NPV, IRR, payback period, and scenario analysis Identify, quantify, and track savings opportunities and operational efficiency improvements across the supply chain Tools & Process Excellence Design and implement scalable capital request management systems, leveraging SharePoint to automate workflows from intake through approval routing Continuously improve processes to reduce administrative burden, increase forecast accuracy, and strengthen governance rigor Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field and 7+ years of progressive finance or program management experience Or, advanced degree and 5+ years of progressive finance or program management experience Preferred Qualifications MBA or CPA strongly preferred Strong familiarity with manufacturing operations, capital expenditure processes, and supply chain finance Proficiency in capital budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-range planning Demonstrated ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders and translate financial concepts into operational action Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial planning systems; ERP experience (SAP preferred) Proficiency in building and automating capital request management workflows Medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environment Experience leading cost transformation or operational efficiency programs Experience across global manufacturing or supply chain organizations Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization platforms Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.   • $213,600.
00 The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
