We are seeking aTax Partnerto lead our Lakewood office. You will drive the strategic direction of the tax department, cultivate high-value client relationships, and mentor the next generation of firm leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership:
Oversee the tax practice's operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and departmental profitability.
Advisory & Planning:
Serve as the lead consultant for complex tax planning, specializing in real estate, private equity, and high-net-worth family offices.
Business Development:
Leverage your network and market insights to attract new clients and expand the firm's footprint in the Northeast.
Quality Control:
Provide final technical review for complex federal and state filings, ensuring strict adherence to evolving tax codes.
Talent Development:
Direct the mentorship and career progression of managers and associates to maintain a robust internal pipeline
QualificationsExperience:
12+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, with a track record of leadership.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation (MST) or JD/LLM preferred.
Certification:
Active CPA license is required.
Business Acumen:
Demonstrated ability to manage a book of business and foster long-term client loyalty.
