Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Treasury Manager to lead our organization's financial management and cash flow strategies. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all treasury functions, including cash management, banking relationships, and financial reporting. Your expertise will ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), while supporting our commitment to transparent and accurate financial practices. Duties Manage daily cash flow operations, including forecasting, liquidity management, and accounts receivable/payable processes using financial software like QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero. Oversee bank relationships and negotiate banking services to optimize treasury functions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as
SOX, GAAP
(Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and governmental accounting standards. Prepare and review financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis to support strategic decision-making. Lead internal controls related to treasury activities, including SOX compliance and audit preparations. Conduct detailed financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning initiatives. Perform account reconciliation tasks across the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in debits & credits and account balances. Support regulatory reporting requirements for nonprofit or governmental entities as applicable. Collaborate with accounting teams on technical accounting issues involving IFRS or GAAP standards. Maintain comprehensive records of treasury transactions and ensure timely processing of payroll and other financial obligations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. Proven experience in corporate treasury management within nonprofit, governmental, or public accounting sectors. Strong knowledge of SOX compliance, IFRS standards, GAAP principles, and regulatory reporting requirements. Extensive experience with cash management strategies and financial analysis tools such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar software. Familiarity with account reconciliation processes including balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting. Proficiency in technical accounting concepts like double entry bookkeeping, account analysis, and financial concepts essential for accurate reporting. Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly through written reports. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in account reconciliation and internal control procedures. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
