Opens a new window.- Lead the successful development and deployment of the target operating model for the new center-led modeling and production team, focused on U.S. Valuation and Production modeling platforms.
- Drive execution and ongoing evolution of the enterprise transformation strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Oversee the design, development, testing, staging, execution, and maintenance of all valuation and projection models across the enterprise, including State/Tax, GAAP/LDTI, Economic Value, and Capital Planning.
- Deliver enterprise-wide valuation and projection analytics, including roll-ups that provide an enterprise lens, divisional comparability, and trend analysis.
- Define and enforce modeling strategy, standards, and oversight across actuarial modeling platforms (both pricing and valuation).
- Ensure all model documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained; oversee review/UAT processes, documentation of changes, impact analysis across reporting bases, and evidence of all required approvals.
- Uphold and enforce model governance standards, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise-wide standards (e.g., data governance, model risk, IT governance).
- Ensure modeling efficiency meets business requirements and cost objectives, and manage all model environments (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD).
- Collaborate and liaise with Reporting & Forecasting, FP&A, CIO, ERM, the Transformation Office, and divisional teams to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution.
- Drive modeling R D to enhance efficiency, promote best practices, and advance modeling capabilities across the enterprise.
- Partner with IT and transformation teams to automate model inputs, outputs, and KPI reporting to streamline processes and improve transparency. Supervise the work of other employees:
- Assistant VP Inforce Model Development.
- Assistant VP Model Steward.
- Assistant VP New Business Model Dev.
- Director Modeling Projects.
