Salary:
$140,000 - $160,000 per year A bit about us: Growing renewable energy and construction-related organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations across a complex multi-entity structure. This is a highly visible role working closely with executive leadership, operations, and project teams to support continued company growth and financial performance. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of corporate accounting, project/job cost accounting, and process improvement experience within construction, real estate, infrastructure, or related project-based industries. Growing organization with strong long-term pipeline and expansion plans High visibility role with direct exposure to executive leadership Opportunity to help build processes and improve operational efficiencies Mix of corporate accounting, project accounting, and operational finance exposure Stable leadership team and collaborative environment Opportunity for long-term growth within a rapidly evolving industry Job Details Key Responsibilities Lead month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting Oversee accounting operations across a large multi-entity structure Manage project/job cost accounting including WIP schedules, revenue recognition, budgets, and margin analysis Oversee construction draws, progress billings, retainage, and compliance documentation Supervise accounts payable processes including vendor onboarding, invoice workflows, and payment controls Prepare consolidated financial reporting and intercompany reconciliations Support treasury functions including cash forecasting, banking activity, and intercompany funding Coordinate audit support and assist with tax/compliance reporting Help develop and improve accounting SOPs, controls, and operational efficiencies Supervise and mentor a small accounting team Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 7+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior experience within construction, renewable energy, real estate, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based industries strongly preferred Experience with job cost accounting, WIP schedules, and multi-entity accounting environments Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with AP oversight, cash management, and intercompany accounting ERP/accounting systems experience required Strong Excel and analytical skills Interested in hearing more?
