Job Family Admin & Business Services Discipline Business Analysis Career Level M2 Salary Range $98,388 - $137,976 Note for Salary This is the range within which SRNS expects the majority of qualified candidates would enter this role if offered. Actual offers may be more or less than the amounts shown depending on candidate's qualifications, experience, internal equity, and other factors. Job Family Description Administrative and business services professionals provide various office and location support activities. They identify, enhance, and follow specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of the business to which the support is being provided, and ensure the correct functioning of facilities, office and/or business support services. Discipline Description Business Analysts are professionals who analyze business processes, and data across an entire organization to optimize performance, and drive strategic initiatives. They bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, facilitating organizational change, and maximizing the value of enterprise-wide investments. They may use Six Sigma skills for data analysis and evaluation. They take the results of the analysis and establish improvements and control mechanisms.
Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include:
Lead a team consisting of Financial Leads and Business Analysts that directly support NNSA Programs and Projects. Oversee the financial and analytical functions of NNSA Programs & Projects to ensure accurate and timely financial data is accumulated and reported in keeping with company and DOE regulations and requirements. Lead, coordinate, and oversee the planning/budgeting (Future Years Nuclear Security Program & Execution Baseline), forecasting, and financial execution/delivery of NNSA direct funded Program & Project annual operating budgets over $350M. This includes ad hoc studies and financial analysis for SRNS and NNSA Program Offices. Required Qualifications Eight or more years of experience (YOE) as an individual contributor in one or more of the roles managed, OR Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field plus five or more years of experience (YOE) in one or more of the roles managed, OR Master's Degree in a relevant field plus three or more year of experience (YOE) in one or more of the roles managed Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered We'd Also Like to See Demonstrates strong leadership and decision-making skills. Ability to manage a team while building rapport with peers, operations/project management, and company executives. Experience managing resources involved in the following areas: Federal Budget Process for NNSA, Funds Management, NNSA/DOE Project Orders and Directives, Forecasting and Budgeting of multi-million-dollar Programs/Projects, Configuration Management for Program Scopes, Coordination with Federal Program/Project and Contract Personnel, Business Unit Overheads, Technical Support (i.e. Cobra, OAS, Excel, PeopleSoft) Possesses strong computer skills. Requires expert proficiency in the use of automated accounting and financial planning systems as tools for performing required duties. Possesses considerable practical experience in the use of the Site business systems. Security Clearance Information SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance.
