Purpose The primary role of the Accounting Manager is to serve as a key member of the division's leadership team, supporting operational and financial decision-making across the business. This position partners closely with leadership to drive financial visibility, operational performance, forecasting accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the division. This is a highly operational finance leadership role with responsibility across accounting functions, internal controls, reporting, budgeting, inventory, and manufacturing-related financial analysis. The role also provides leadership, development, and mentorship to finance department personnel while supporting long-term business growth and profitability objectives. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within the organization. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Basic Job Functions Lead and support accounting operations including general ledger, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, inventory management, fixed assets, tax, and compliance reporting. Partner closely with division leadership to analyze financial and operational performance metrics and support strategic decision-making. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to accounting processes, reporting accuracy, internal controls, and operational efficiency. Support manufacturing operations through inventory analysis, cost accounting, and operational finance visibility. Lead, develop, and mentor finance department personnel while promoting accountability, collaboration, and strong team culture. Coordinate and oversee internal and external audit activities while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and control procedures. Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, operational excellence, and continuous improvement throughout the division. Minimum Requirements Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Minimum of three years of experience in a financial or accounting-related position. Preferences CPA, CMA, MBA, or Master's degree preferred. Manufacturing, operational finance, or cost accounting experience strongly preferred. Leadership or supervisory experience within accounting or finance environments. Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools, including Microsoft D365 experience preferred. Strong business acumen with the ability to support operational and financial decision-making. Desire to pursue long-term growth and advancement opportunities within the organization. Special Demands Work schedule may include hours beyond the normal business day. Must maintain strict confidentiality regarding company financial and management information.
