Sr Manager, Finance

We are looking for an experienced Accounting/Finance Leader to oversee strategic financial initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and investment activities. This role involves conducting in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling to support decision-making at the executive level. Special projects within the finance department will also be a large part of this individual's focus. This is an on-site position in Columbia, South Carolina.

Responsibilities:

• Direct mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, including market research, valuation, financial modeling, and due diligence.
• Develop and present strategic recommendations and materials for senior leadership teams.
• Oversee the integration of acquired entities into the corporate structure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage financial reporting and audited statements for designated entities
• Active involvement of special projects within corporate finance, supporting both finance and accounting functions.
• Conduct goodwill impairment analyses for acquired entities to ensure accurate financial assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute strategic investment opportunities and manage project workflows.
• Negotiate agreements and oversee closing processes for M&A transactions.
• Provide managerial consulting support to acquired businesses as needed.
