Job Description:
Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is a two -year community/technical college that offers more than 75 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs for students who are either seeking quick entry into the workforce or desiring to transfer to a senior institution to pursue a bachelor's degree. HGTC offers three convenient campus locations in South Carolina, including Myrtle Beach, Conway and Georgetown. The Financial Aid division is seeking candidates for an Assistant Manager Financial Aid Technical Services. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the manager of the College's financial aid database systems including Banner, Banner Document Management System, and Argos. The selected candidate will assist IT programming staff on developing system processes, setting up new award aid year, awarding and disbursement of Federal and State Aid, and performing quarterly testing on upgrades and modifications to the financial aid systems. The manager will also be responsible for assisting with electronic loan transmittals, reconciliation, and reporting requirements based on Federal and State regulations.
Advertised Salary:
$45,300 (Minimum)- $61,100 (Midpoint)
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and related experience. Education and experience will be evaluated, with exceptions to requirements subject to assessment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff and the general public. Prior knowledge of Title IV programs and Banner. Special Instructions to
