We have partnered with a family-owned, investment firm in Greenville, SC. The team recently created a new role looking for a high-impact leadership candidate reporting to the CIO. They will be responsible for leading accounting and tax strategy across a complex portfolio of power, renewable energy, and infrastructure investments. This role sits at the intersection of deal execution, financial reporting, and investment performance.

The team has created a new role looking for a high-impact leadership candidate reporting to the CIO. They will be responsible for leading accounting and tax strategy across a complex portfolio of power, renewable energy, and infrastructure investments. This role sits at the intersection of deal execution, financial reporting, and investment performance. Responsibilities- Lead accounting on deals: Evaluate and structure investments, including tax equity and partnership arrangements
- Own financial oversight: Ensure accurate, GAAP-compliant reporting across a diverse portfolio
- Partner cross-functionally: Act as the key link between investment, tax, accounting, and external advisors
- Drive performance insights: Monitor cash flow, returns, and key metrics against underwriting assumptions
- Support strategic activity: Lead diligence, integration, forecasting, and portfolio-level analysis Qualifications
- CPA with 8+ years of experience
- Strong background in energy, infrastructure, or complex investment structures
- Deep expertise in GAAP, partnership accounting, and tax equity
- Advanced Excel skills; strong financial analysis capabilities
- Ability to operate as a thought partner to investment teams, not just a technical accountant
