This role oversees accurate financial reporting, maintains the integrity of the general ledger, and ensures close processes are completed on schedule. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, a hands-on approach to reconciliations and journal entries, and the ability to support audit readiness in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Direct the monthly close cycle, ensuring deadlines are met and financial results are recorded accurately. Maintain and review general ledger activity to support complete and reliable financial reporting. Prepare, examine, and approve journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation. Reconcile balance sheet and other key accounts, investigating variances and resolving discrepancies promptly. Coordinate audit support activities by organizing schedules, responding to requests, and helping maintain compliance with reporting standards. Analyze financial data and account activity to identify trends, errors, and opportunities for process improvement. Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure accounting information is complete, timely, and aligned with business operations. Utilize NetSuite to manage accounting records, reporting, and day-to-day financial processes. At least 3 years of experience in an accounting leadership or supervisory capacity. Demonstrated expertise in month-end close procedures, general ledger management, and account reconciliations. Strong working knowledge of journal entry preparation and review. Experience supporting financial statement audits and responding to audit documentation requests. Proficiency with NetSuite and comfort working within accounting systems. Solid analytical skills with strong attention to accuracy and detail. Effective communication skills and the ability to manage priorities in a deadline-driven setting.
