Accounting Manager -

Brentwood, Tennessee Position Summary:
The Corporate Accounting Manager will manage various accounting functions, including payroll, fixed assets, and journal entry processing, as well as associated analysis, reporting, and reconciliations. This role will ensure that practices comply with organization accounting policies and applicable laws and regulations. BS/BA in accounting or related field and healthcare experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and reviewing corporate and intercompany journal entries Posting payroll, payroll taxes, and statistics, in addition to other responsibilities related to accounting for payroll as needed 401K file validation and funding Reviewing bank reconciliations Preparing various monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations Management of account reconciliation platform and processes Supervision of site level accounting teams and staff accountant Assisting with the annual budgeting process Support with internal and external audits Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong accounting knowledge Understanding of healthcare industry Effective organization and communication skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent in Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups, etc.)
Qualifications:
BS/BA preferred in a related field or relevant experience is required 2+ years of relevant healthcare experience required Supervisory experience a plus
