Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Finance Manager oversees the financial health of Darsalud Management and the clients we support. This involves managing the back-office operations, internal budget and finances, oversight of investment opportunities developing financial strategies, as well as managing an administrative team.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Oversees the daily workflow of the department with the Finance Assistants. Ensures schedules are set to provide department coverage. Ensures all department duties, responsibilities, and goals are met in a timely manner. Escalates employee concerns to Leadership when needed/necessary. Aid with duties that would result in employee satisfaction. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations. Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure optimal financial operations within the company and its clients including all payables and receivables Oversee the performance of human resources and ensure established goals and timelines are met for the company and its clients Prepare monthly and quarterly management and financial reporting for the company and its clients Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for the company and its clients Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems Create and monitor cost-analysis, budgets, projections and forecasts as needed for the company and its clients Ensure compliance with accounting / human resources policies and regulatory requirements for company and its clients (including 501c3 compliance as needed) Actively manage supervisees to ensure all department duties, responsibilities, and goals are met in a timely manner
Experience, Certification and Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Finance or accounting, CPA a plus Five or more years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis Two or more years of experience management or supervision of a team Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners Excellent business judgement, analytical, and decision-making skills Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Microsoft Office Suite which includes
Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at time
