  • Memphis, TN (On-Site) Position Overview A large, global organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support international accounting operations on an interim basis.
This role will focus heavily on foreign currency, intercompany activity, and global entity support, while also owning core GL responsibilities. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical accounting foundation along with experience operating in a complex, multi-entity environment. Location & Schedule Memphis, TN (100% on-site) Candidates within driving distance preferred (regional candidates considered) Duration & Compensation 6-9 month engagement Target pay: $75
  • 85/hour, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates Target start: ASAP Key Responsibilities Perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Support foreign currency accounting, including CTA analysis and functional currency considerations Manage and review intercompany transactions and investments Assist with legal entity restructuring and other non-routine international transactions (divestitures, acquisitions, liquidations) Partner with international finance teams on technical accounting matters and cross-border activities Participate in balance sheet reviews to ensure compliance with U.
S. GAAP and internal policies Support external and internal audit processes for international entities Assist with SEC reporting and footnote disclosures Contribute to IFRS conversion efforts and other global accounting projects Support accounting for goodwill and intangible assets, including impairment analysis Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred Manager or Senior Manager-level experience in a large, complex organization (or highly relevant experience from a smaller environment) Strong background in: General Ledger accounting (journal entries, reconciliations) Intercompany accounting International accounting / foreign currency Experience with U.S. GAAP and multinational operations required Exposure to technical accounting, SEC reporting, or IFRS highly preferred Prior experience in manufacturing or global corporate environments is a plus Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Why This Opportunity High-impact role supporting a large-scale global accounting function Exposure to complex international transactions and technical accounting areas Opportunity to partner directly with senior accounting leadership Immediate start with strong potential for extension IND4
