Manager, FP&A Asurion - 3.2 Nashville, TN Job Details Full-time 7 hours ago Qualifications Data mining Financial model construction Accounting and finance experience Data-driven problem-solving Financial projection model development Productivity software Technical Proficiency Data analysis software Full Job Description The Manager, Customer Solutions FP&A is a key role within the Finance organization. This position will have primary responsibility for critical financial analysis and reporting, as well as partnership with multiple business partners supporting the Customer Solutions Sales Enablement & Operations Teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong ability to manage ambiguity and adapt easily in a dynamic environment. The candidate must also have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills, and must have deep intellectual curiosity to challenge the status quo, solve complex business problems and provide actionable insights to business partners. The candidate must also be customer-centric and able to consistently and effectively work as part of a team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cultivate and develop professional relationships with several business partners across many different management levels, making yourself a crucial part of the decision-making process Prepare weekly and monthly operational and sales performance reports with financial impacts as well as ad hoc financial analyses as needed Own and maintain the financial models, and manage its continuous development and improvement Manage and own the month-end close processes Maintain the financial forecasts as related to sales and operations, by connecting with other teams on relevant business changes and leveraging recurring meetings to update operating metrics Develop new reporting processes to facilitate the reporting for a dynamic business landscape and eliminate unnecessary work Consistently coordinate and collaborate with key business partners, in order to communicate new opportunities for the business as a whole Work with team members and other stakeholders to develop the Annual Operating Plan Participate in your own professional development through one-on-one mentor sessions with teammates and online training sessions Must be able to prioritize multiple projects at once, in order to be the ideal business partner for the adjacent business functions
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience Requires a proficiency level typically attained with 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related business role, with demonstrated progression of responsibility or position In-depth financial planning, financial analysis, data mining, and financial modeling expertise Advanced Excel financial modeling skills are critical Intermediate to advanced technical skill, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Experience with Power BI reporting and financial ledger reporting software (e.g. OneStream) is considered an asset Ability to work with and manipulate large datasets is crucial
