Financial Aid Coordinator- Records Management, Training and Outreach (RMTO) El Paso Community College - 4.3 El Paso, TX Job Details Full-time $41,547 - $44,973 a year 14 hours ago Qualifications Staff supervision Management Employee relationship building Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Job Summary Responsible for assisting the Manager with administration, planning, and coordination of a designated program, department, or unit within the Financial Aid Department. In-person work on campus is an essential function of this position. Essential Functions Supervise the Financial Aid records management area ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional requirements. Responsible for overseeing imaging timelines and workflow processes of financial aid documents, to include training and resolving any imaging related issues. Assist manager with daily work directions and assignments for staff. Work closely with the Manager to ensure staff are knowledgeable and aware of new procedures, practices, and requirements. Oversee all web room activity. Responsible for coordinating and maintaining all Financial Aid outreach activities and scheduling on campus and community events. Assign staff to outreach activities and conduct Financial Aid workshops. Update presentation material and coordinate events with other departments. Evaluate department training needs by monitoring regulatory program changes and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional requirements as well as strengthening customer service techniques. Provide training recommendations to the Manager and the Director. Assist in developing, scheduling, and delivering training to Financial Aid staff. Responsible for maintaining departmental policies and procedures manual and updating it as needed based on changes in federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and internal processes. Provide information and assistance to students or families in the completion of Financial Aid applications or processes. Assist with online processes as well as ensuring accuracy and completeness of any documentation submitted for processing. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
1. Associate's degree and five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
