Job Description

  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Industry Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and reporting for our construction projects in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles specific to the construction industry.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred. 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a construction-related role. Proficiency in construction accounting software. Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Manage all accounting operations related to construction projects, including project costing, billing, and revenue recognition.
Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for construction projects. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations in the construction industry. Collaborate with project managers and executives to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes for construction projects. Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for project-specific requirements.
